Les Tontons reprennent du service
Les Britanniques ont leur James Bond, nous on a nos Barbouzes ; chacun son style. Après le succès phénoménal des Tontons flingueurs, Georges Lautner a repris, un an plus tard, plus ou moins les mêmes et a recommencé. Le fameux trio Lino Ventura – Bernard Blier – Francis Blanche s’en donne à cœur joie dans cette comédie qui n’a, il faut bien le dire, ni queue ni tête. L’écriture du scénario est bien entendu confiée à Michel Audiard, qui s’associe une fois de plus avec l’auteur de Grisbi or not grisbi (le titre original des Tontons flingueurs). Lautner reste fidèle à son directeur de la photographie, Maurice Fellous, et c’est encore Michel Magne qui signe la bande originale.
