Vámpírok márpedig nincsenek, mondotta negyedik Béla. Nyugi. Tudom, nem negyedik Béla mondta, hanem Könyves Kálmán. S nem azt, hogy vámpírok nincsenek, hanem hogy boszorkányok nem léteznek. Kálmánom, okos férfi volt, de túl realista. Nem is értem, hiszen engem is igen jól ismert, persze én nem vagyok boszorkány. Nem boszorkány vagyok.

Zellerszárat szopogatok. A ropogós zöldséget időnként poharamba mártom. Vérvörös paradicsomlé fröccsen az asztalkendőre.  Egy elvetemült zellerszár szál metszőfogaim közé ékelődik. Bosszantó! Korábban ilyesmi sosem történt velem, amikor még… Ám azóta életmódot váltottam. Fölösleges a múlton rágódni. Bíbor bőrbe kötött kézitükrömben diszkréten ellenőrzöm kivillanó fogsoromat. Ideje lenne bejelentkezni a fogorvoshoz némi csiszolásra. Kedvenc fogaim
