Dr. Irene Ligetvari váratlan halálának napja. Pontosabban az öngyilkosságáé.

Az utcákon világszerte feketébe öltözött tömegek vonulnak, könnycseppek millióit engedve szabadjára. Fiatalok bujtogatnak, rendőrök próbálják őket embertelen módszerekkel kordában tartani.
Az idősebbek arcán csendes fájdalom mélyíti a ráncokat. Bennük már tudatosult, hogy a jelen történései visszafordíthatatlanok.
