Asa Larsson has millions of readers around the world. Originally from Kiruna, where her novels are also set, she was a lawyer like her heroine, before devoting herself fully to writing. Her novels Spilled Blood and Sacrifice to Moloch have both won the Swedish Crime Novel Award. Her Rebecka Martinsson series has been translated in 30 countries.

Je tiens à remercier les éditions livres de poche et le site Netgalley de m'avoir permis de lire ce livre.
L'histoire se déroule dans la petite ville minière de Kiruna où Viktor Strandgard surnommé "le pèlerin du paradis" est retrouvé mort dans un temple de cristal et pourtant il avait déjà survécu à un accident. Qui à pu commettre ce crime? C'est ce que vont se posé sa sœur Sanna et l'avocate Rebecka Martinsson tout en ce mettant en danger.
J'ai accroché de suite à l'histoire si prenante, addictive, captivante, remplie de suspens et de rebondissements avec des personnages attachants. Hâte de continuer de lire la série tellement j'adore la plume de l'auteure.

The story takes place in the small mining town of Kiruna where Viktor Strandgard, nicknamed "the pilgrim of paradise", is found dead in a crystal temple and yet he had already survived an accident. Who could have committed this crime? That's what his sister Sanna and the lawyer Rebecka Martinsson are going to ask themselves while putting themselves in danger.
I was immediately hooked on the story so gripping, addictive, captivating, full of suspense and twists with endearing characters. I can't wait to continue reading the series because I love the author's writing so much.
