Depuis le temps que je voulais lire ce livre voilà qui est fait.
On y retrouve Marcus policier qui ne rêve que de vacances sous les tropiques. Qui n'en rêve pas? Lorsqu'un corps est retrouvé sur le bord d'une falaise, ses vacances tombent à l'eau. L'histoire se déroule dans la station balnéaire de Wimereux entre l'Angleterre et la Mer du Nord. C'est la saison touristique, Marcus se voit prendre l'enquête en cours et va croiser la journaliste Zoé Rousseau, mais tout cela va tourner au vinaigre lors de la découverte d'un deuxième corps.
J'ai accroché de suite à l'histoire si captivante, addictive, prenante, remplie de suspens et de rebondissements avec des personnages attachants. J'adore la plume de l'auteure.

Since the time I wanted to read this book, I did.
We find Marcus, a policeman who only dreams of a vacation in the tropics. Who doesn't? When a body is found on the edge of a cliff, his vacation is ruined. The story takes place in the seaside resort of Wimereux between England and the North Sea. It's the tourist season, Marcus is caught up in the ongoing investigation and will cross paths with the journalist Zoé Rousseau, but all this will turn sour when a second body is discovered.
I immediately got hooked on the story, so captivating, addictive, full of suspense and twists and turns with endearing characters. I love the author's writing.
