Théo Lemattre est né à Dechy, dans le nord de la France. Très jeune, il se passionne pour l’écriture, et publie son premier livre à seulement 16 ans. Après avoir commencé à écrire des thrillers, il décide de s’orienter vers la romance. En 2017, il écrit Prêts à tout qui marquera son tournant dans le roman. S’en suivront une multitude de titres, dont Cinq pas vers le bonheur, La fête continuera sans toi et Sur le fil du cœur, son premier livre publié par Amazon Publishing.
A few words about the author :
Théo Lemattre was born in Dechy, in the north of France. At a very young age, he developed a passion for writing, and published his first book at only 16 years old. After starting to write thrillers, he decided to turn to romance. In 2017, he wrote Ready for Anything, which would mark his turning point in the novel. A multitude of titles followed, including Five Steps to Happiness, The Party Will Go On Without You, and On the Edge of the Heart, his first book published by Amazon Publishing.

Alors que Tom se trouve au bord d’un ravin avec l’intention de mettre fin à ses jours, Léonie arrive sur les lieux avec la même idée que lui. C’est embêtant, aucun d’eux ne s’attendait à avoir un spectateur.
Ils ne se connaissent pas et n’ont a priori aucune affinité, le désespoir mis à part. Mais lorsqu’ils se retrouvent dans un groupe de rigolothérapie, ils se rapprochent et découvrent qu’en réalité ils ont un point commun : des rêves brisés par une vie qui ne leur a pas fait de cadeaux.
Ensemble, vont-ils trouver la force de se relever, de lutter… et d’aller au bout de leurs rêves ?
Summary :
As Tom stands at the edge of a ravine with the intention of ending his life, Leonie arrives at the scene with the same idea as him. It's annoying, neither of them expected to have a bystander.
They do not know each other and have a priori no affinity, despair aside. But when they meet in a laughter group, they get closer and discover that they actually have something in common: dreams broken by a life that has not been kind to them.
Together, will they find the strength to stand up, to fight... and to follow their dreams?

Je tiens à remercier les éditions Montlake romance / Amazon Publishing France et le site Netgalley de m'avoir permis de lire ce livre.
On y retrouve Tom qui veux en finir avec la vie, il veux se jeter au fond d'un ravin sauf que ce jour là Léonie arrive et le surprend alors qu'au fait elle veux en finir aussi. Ils ne se connaissent même pas mais ils vont se retrouver dans un groupe de rigolothérapie. Ils vont faire connaissance entre eux et découvrir qu'ils ont pas mal de points communs : des rêves brisés car la vie ne leur à pas fait de cadeaux.
Vont ils aller jusqu'au bout de leurs rêves?
Un livre lu d'une traite tellement j'ai accroché de suite à l'histoire si émouvante à certains passages, captivante, addictive, prenante, remplie de suspens et de rebondissements avec des personnages très attachants. J'adore la plume de l'auteur si addictive.

We find Tom who wants to end his life, he wants to throw himself into a ravine except that day Leonie arrives and surprises him when in fact she wants to end too. They don't even know each other but they are going to meet in a group of rigolotherapy. They will get to know each other and discover that they have a lot in common: broken dreams because life has not done them any favors.
Will they follow their dreams to the end?
A book read in one go so much I was immediately hooked on the story so moving in some passages, captivating, addictive, gripping, full of suspense and twists with very endearing characters. I love the author's writing, so addictive.
