Dans les méandres obscurs des tristes paysages
Où rampent en abondance de sombres vermines
Les sillons cérébraux n’ont que mauvais présages
De mauvaises récoltes et de grandes famines
Au milieu de ces champs parsemés de rocailles
Le vagabond se meut entouré de vipères
Qui sifflent incessamment leur discours de racaille
Afin de conserver leur sinistre repaire
Épuisé au milieu des perfides reptiles
Il n’est plus un seul pas qui ne peut être fait
