J'étais ce chêne altier, raidi dans sa voilure,

Ce roc inébranlable, aveugle à la Nature.


J'ai fui le Nemeton, craignant ce feu trop grand,

Me figeant dans le sel sur le damier glaçant.


Mais sous la cendre froide où mon orgueil expire,

Ta douce voix d'oiseau vient briser mon empire.


​Tu m'as jeté le Feu, non pour me consumer,

Mais pour que dans ce sel, je puiss
