A few words about the author :

Born in 1973 in the Paris region, Eric Senabre has been a journalist for over ten years.
When he's not writing, he plays rock music, is passionate about martial arts, devours B movies and especially loves 19th century fantasy literature.
In his library, you can find great adventure novels written by Roberts Louis Stevenson or Sir Atrhur Conan Doyle, but if you look hard enough, you will also find X-Men comics and Mickey Parade. Because what he likes most of all are the imaginative stories, the mysteries to be solved, and what can be discovered behind the surface of known things.

Summary :

Off the coast of Sicily, on a stormy night. In a drifting dinghy, Nick and Roger are trying to save their lives. Why did their father suddenly dump them in the middle of the sea, without explanation? If they got along until then, the relationship of the two brothers will be put to the test, especially when they are stranded in Avalon Park. Without adults and left to their own devices in a giant amusement park, the children on the island do not all see danger in the same way. Who can they trust?

My review :

I would like to thank Didier jeunesse and the Netgalley website for allowing me to read this book.

The story takes place on the shores of Sicily in the middle of a storm. Nick and Roger are in a boat that is drifting, they try everything to save their skin. They ask themselves why their father left them there in the middle of a storm, and they end up stranded in Avalon Park. Up there there are no adults, they are bound to themselves in this life-size park. The children don't see the danger like the others, who can they count on?

A book read in one sitting, I was so hooked on the story that it was gripping, captivating, addictive, full of intrigue, suspense and twists and turns with very endearing characters.
