and overflowing with ideas, she was first an inexhaustible storyteller before writing down the adventures born of her imagination. An internationally renowned Youtube artist, she has a total of 870,000 subscribers on her "Girly addict" channel. Elsie is her first novel.

Nouvelle dans son quartier, Elsie a sept ans lorsqu'elle rencontre Francine, une vieille dame qui habite la maison d'en face. Au fil des années, elles nouent une relation d'amitié et de grande complicité. Mais dix ans plus tard, la mort les sépare subitement. Incapable de laisser partir Francine sans lui dire au revoir, Elsie achète un jeu de Ouija dans l'espoir de rétablir le contact. Mais la mort n'est pas un jeu.
A vouloir à tout prix communiquer avec son amie disparue, la jeune fille réveillera des êtres qu'elle regrettera vite d'avoir dérangés.
Summary :
New to her neighbourhood, Elsie was seven years old when she met Francine, an old lady who lived in the house across the street. Over the years, they develop a relationship of friendship and great complicity. But ten years later, death suddenly separates them. Unable to let Francine go without saying goodbye, Elsie buys a Ouija board in the hope of re-establishing contact. But death is not a game.
Wanting at all costs to communicate with her missing friend, the young girl will wake up people she will soon regret having disturbed.

Je tiens à remercier les éditions Kennes et le site Netgalley de m'avoir permis de lire ce livre qui à été un vrai coup de cœur à lire.
Je suis fan de l'auteure autant pour sa plume que j'adore et ses vidéos youtube.
On y retrouve Elsie qui est nouvelle dans son quartier, elle vient d’emménager avec ses parents. Elle n'avait que sept ans lorsqu'elle à rencontrer sa vieille voisine Francine. AU fil du temps elles vont être inséparables. Mais dix ans plus tard, Francine décède. Elsie va donc vouloir à tout prix prendre contact avec elle grâce à une planche de Ouija, ce qu'il ne faut absolument pas faire. Car en faisant cela, Francine va avoir réveiller des êtres dérangés.
Un livre lu d'une traite tellement j'ai accroché à l'histoire si addictive, captivante, remplie de suspens et de rebondissements avec des personnages très attachants. Hâte de lire la suite.

I'm a fan of the author for her writing that I love and her youtube videos.
We find Elsie who is new in her neighborhood, she just moved in with her parents. She was only seven years old when she met her old neighbor Francine. As time goes by, they will be inseparable. But ten years later, Francine passed away. Elsie will want to contact her at all costs with a Ouija board, which is absolutely not to be done. Because by doing so, Francine will have awakened some disturbed beings.
A book read in one go, so much so that I hooked on the story, so addictive, captivating, full of suspense and twists and turns with very endearing characters. Can't wait to read the book two.
