Ardemment, elle lira dimanche,

à la lueur d’une bougie

aux senteurs douces et fleuries,

dans sa chambre, rideaux tirés,

dans ses draps, toute décoiffée,

ce livre doré sur la tranche

au récit fou et pimenté

qui la fait rire ou bien pleurer,

la fait frémir, la fait vibrer,

et l’emporte loin, loin de tout

et de son quotidien surtout

diamétralement opposé.
