Winners announcement of " My Pandemic Story " writing contest

We take pleasure in announcing that Laure Gérard, Macdonal Jean-Louis, Teodora Sabeva, and Yves Marie Gustave are the winners of our amazing writing contest “My Pandemic Story”.

We have been thrilled to read so many interactive and creative stories. Some light experiences, others more intense, but all worthy of reading in a carefree and pleasant moment.

Best French Story Award

For the Best French Story Award, Laure Gérard ranks first with "2020, j'ai fait tomber le masque” for her impressive creative and writing skills. Her ability to involve the reader deeply in the story and convey emotions is absolutely commendable.

 Best English Story Award

For the Best English Story Award, Teodora Sabeva ranks first with “Who stole the rainbows?” with her ability to use metaphors and make everything so real and at the same time enjoyable. Rainbows are magical, as is her story!

It was the ''rising'' of 2020. I was barely a teenager, preparing for ''the best summer of my life''. The warm and early summer breeze filled my heart with excitement for the upcoming holidays. I had no patience left to wait for the last ring of the school bell. As the trees got greener and sun shone brighter, a big stormy cloud appeared above everyone's  head. It started with a rain of rumours about a scary and unknown virus spreading around the world, threatening everyone...

Most Read Story Award

We are pleased to also reward the writers with the largest number of readers, and therefore a deserving applause to Macdonal Jean-Louis whose story “Aux fines herbes ce trouble mental” had 3692 readers and Yves Marie Gustave, 1410 readers read his story “Lettre à ma mère pour dévider l'aube".

Panodyssey extends sincere congratulations to Laure Gérard, Macdonal Jean-Louis, Teodora Sabeva, and Yves Marie Gustave on this accomplishment, and our thanks to them for their dedication in creative writing. We feel this is but the beginning of a promising future with a great combination of talent and dedication.

Finally, Panodyssey would like to congratulate all the participants who have decided to share their pandemic story with us and made this contest extremely engaging with their excellent performance.
