Top 3 Videos on YouTube to Open Your Eyes!

The nature of my job is to discover valuable content, get in touch with the creators behind that and to try to deliver value for both writers and my own company in the long run.

Thanks to the massive reading on all kinds of blogs, my curiosity level goes to the new high in my life! Not feeling I've learned enough and craving for more new insights and ideas, I started to watch videos and listen to podcasts.

Today, I'd like to recommend 3 videos you should watch or at least listen to on YouTube to open up your mind!

1. Will We Survive Mars by VOX

When I first watched their videos, I find it intriguing because it asks random questions and finds legit supports to explain what the team founding is accordingly! It is special because the series of the videos in the playlist/project Glad You Asked have 4 producers working together. They're like a group of friends to find answers to each question together and educate each other. If you're interested in creative videos with really in-depth content as well as experts' views, watch their video! If you want to see more of their projects, save the Glad You Asked playlist for the 10 videos!

2. Why Real Champagne Is So Expensive by Business Insider

Pricing is always an intriguing and complicated issue in the business world. I first lay an eye on pricing was when my boyfriend with an information system background suggests that in international companies, pricing can be a very professional and crucial work. More importantly, it can be where I pursue my career in the future.

A luxurious lifestyle is definitely not something I can pursue at the moment but it's always fun to take a look at why high-end products deserve such a high price! This video caught my eye when I was trying to find some insights about the wine industry and all kinds of knowledge about those precious bottles. Champagne is iconic to the drinking culture and France. It is an AOC (Appellation d'Origine Controlée) with very restrict rules from the French government in order to keep the premium production process and the one-of-a-kind product image worldwide.

If you find this topic interesting, the have already 4 seasons on So Expensive from Business Insider to tell you why some products in our life are so expensive. You may find the reasons behind it pretty convincing!

3. Every day you live, you impact the planet by Jane Goodall on Ted

Screenshot from the video

Dr. Jane Goodall is always my role model since I was an elementary student. Her endeavor in protecting nature and the chimpanzees are admirable while I'm also a huge fan of her elegance and wise words. Ted Talk is well-known for its concise but knowledgable speeches. All of them are why the video caught my eyes.

Indeed that many have their different explanation on how human activities affect the world. But it is true that no matter what we do every day, each decision may affect the planet in various ways! It is also interesting the opinion of Dr. Goodall that when humans' and natural species' habitants get closer and closer and invade each other's spaces, fatal diseases on wide animals start to infect humans.

If you're also a fan of knowing more about the insights related to the environment, listen to the interview with Dr. Goodall and you may find some new opinions you may discover and develop on.

Key Takeaway

At the end of the day, all kinds of educational videos aim to open up audiences' minds and to trigger the further self-education process on topics one may be interested in. There's always something you can learn from others and there are always questions to answer or to explore. If you like my recommendations or like the videos, support the producers on YouTube by giving a like on their videos! Support me by giving a heart to my article and share it with others!
