Ô mon roi, empereur, monarque ou président,
Je ne suis qu’un inculte en te vouant un culte.
Le premier qui t’insulte, je le catapulte !
Car c’est en ton honneur que je suis bien vivant.
Chantons, chantons : « Allons enfants de monarchie,
Le journal du soir est publié » ; lisons-le !
Et puis obéissez ! et puis écoutons-le !
Et puis obéissons contre toute anarchie !
Je voue un culte au Dieu, quand je vais à l’église.
Je vote pour le mieux, touchant l’urne promise.
Je suis un bon sujet, jamais verbalisé.
Chaque jour j’obéis à la Loi politique
Dans ce noble pays, dictature empirique.
Laissons-le mieux régner, soyons plus divisés
