Tel un marin taiseux, juste avant le baroufle,
Qui, du pont d'un bâteau, attend que le vent souffle,
Ancré et à l'affût, tendu vers le combat,
Quand un flot furieux dansera sous ton pas,
Que vibreront en toi ses laments de maroufle,
Que depuis ton giron, quelque coup de mistoufle
De ton chaos intime alourdira le bât,
Ta parole sourdra, en mascaret de sens,
Remontant ta colonne en fine résurgence,
Tout d'abord hésitant, et lent, et ténu,
Puis large et libéré, indomptable geyser,
Offert à l'horizon, agençant l'inconnu
Continent émergé de ton propre
