How I Overcame Imposter Syndrome
4 simple habits that helped me believe in myself.
Self-confidence has been my biggest fear as a person for almost all my life.
But, every time I stepped out I felt like I was fake, and I would shy away from being active in social activities, or even contributing in meetings at my workplace due to low self-esteem. My negative self-talk was alive and kicking, berating me at the slightest provocation possible. This is specifically true because being an introvert means I can always just remain within my shell and avoid any more failure or negative opinions from others. However, years of living that kind of life deeply affected me, in terms of the wear and tear on my free spirit as well as my feelings.
But over time, living that way took a real toll on me, both mentally and emotionally.
I had never been in a position of not kissing most of the opportunities I desired to never have the energy of holding myself back all the time.
