Tips before plannong your trip to Peru

Visiting Peru was amazing, it was a country full of ancient energies that will fill you up but latter on on my return I realized that even though I love rememberign all my good, fun and not so great adventures, knowing the following tips will made it so much great and memorable (visit the original post here)

1. If you're short on time, I will reccomend to plan at least the main activity you are going to do each day so you can improve your time and get to see the most of Peru on your visit.

Huacachina Oasis

2. Trek tours such as the Rainbow Mountain and Lake 69 are better to scheduled in Peru, since most of them have the possibility of being scheduled the day before and also you will have more offers than those found on internet.

3. If you scheduled tours using any plataform or on internet, it is good to confirm the information because  is not always up-to-date.

4. In souvenir shops and some markets as well as in taxis there is the possibility of negotiating rates.

5. If you are going to do any of the mountains of Machupicchu (Huayna Picchu, Machu Picchu and even go up to the archaeological site on foot) take with you an extra T-shirt or “Dry Fit” clothing like I told you on my previous post "13 days in Peru: Adventures from South to North"

Machupicchu

6. Even if you are doing the Inka trail or taking any train to get to Aguas Calientes, I recommend that you leave the large suitcase at the Hostel / Hotel in Cusco or Ollantaytambo and pack in a smaller backpack the necessary for those couple of days that you will be in the Sacred Valley including Machupicchu (The complete explanation here).

7. The custom  to tip on tours is between 10 and 15 soles per person but it is up to you and how much did you liked it.

Sacred Valley

10. While in Lima ALWAYS use sunscreen. Even though it's cold and that white cape is in the sky all day, it's like it is sunny and you'll only notice it at night when your nose and cheeks are red from heat stroke.

I hope this will serve you a lot for your plans <3 to read the compleate list of tips before planning your trip to Peru or more travel recommendations, visit Stamp Dreams

Let me know how it goes and if you have more tips to add! Meanwhile, enjoy a little galery from my trip.
