Préambule
Nous, citoyens du monde, unis par une même volonté de bâtir un avenir fondé sur la Paix, la Justice et la Fraternité, proclamons cette Déclaration Universelle pour la Paix.
La Paix ne peut être réduite à l’absence de conflit armé. Elle est un état d’harmonie fondé sur la Bienveillance, la Justice, le respect mutuel et la coopération. Elle est le fondement du progrès humain et de l’élévation des civilisations.
Dans un monde où les tensions géopolitiques s’intensifient, où la guerre est souvent présentée comme une fatalité, nous affirmons qu’aucun conflit n’est inévitable. La guerre est un choix. La Paix peut l’être aussi.
Nous lançons donc cet appel solennel à la conscience universelle, afin que le dialogue et la diplomatie prévalent toujours
