Qu'elles gardent mes paupières écartées
Quand l'ombre de mes idées m'étrique
Au point de noircir mes pensées
Je m'en ouvre à ma vieille amie
Qui d'une parole m'en départit
Quand le nid n'est plus un abri
Que le foyer est désuni
Qu'on ne connait plus sa famille
Tant elle a pris la distance
L'intime de ma plus tendre enfance
Sait soulager mes confiences
Quand certains matins sont heureux
Que les demains tellement radieux
Me font craindre d'être si chanceux
J'en appelle à ma chère complice
Attentive à toutes les prémices
Qui se délecte de mes délices

Qui s'extasie de mes merveilles
