Tu connaîtras des peines indélébiles
Qui te laisseront froid et stérile
Il y aura des nuits où les larmes
Cesseront de brûler et de couler
Mais où le cœur continuera à saigner
La tristesse remplacera la joie
Et installera le chagrin chez toi
Autrefois un heureux brouhaha
Mais il y aura aussi des matins magiques et doux
Où ton âme voyagera entre nous
Comme dans une danse vaudou
Enfin, il y aura des saisons bénies
Ornées de soleil et de pluie
