Free #Assange, free the world
Mr. Sunak, who is running again to stay in power as the future British PM, very proudly declared to a teacher last week that the British children are the ones who read the most in Europe. As one can imagine, the British kids will be the future readers of newspapers and press articles. What will they read about Julian #Assange? What will they think of the unfair and terrible treatment which #Assange has been suffering here in the UK for more than 10 years?
In my view, one of the most powerful talks Julian has ever given, took place 13 years ago - on October 8, 2011 – at Trafalgar Square. As I lived in the UK during the Thatcher years, I will repeat an extract of what Julian said on that day.
He asked: “What can we do with our values, with this war?”, adding: “Mrs. Thatcher was right when she declared that there is no society anymore, what there is a transnational security elite that is busy harming up the world, using our tax money. To combat that elite, Julian added on that day, ‘we must not petition, we must take it over. We must form our own networks of strength and mutual values which can challenge those strengths and self-interested values of those warmongers in this country and in others that form hand in hand an alliance to take money from the US and every NATO country, from Australia and launder it through Afghanistan, launder it through Irak, Somalia, Yemen, Pakistan and wash that money in people’s blood’.
To make this statement even more accurate, Julian gave some years later an answer to the oppression we all suffer:
There is unity in the oppression. This is why there should be absolute unity and determination in the answer.
Julian Assange
The radical transformation of the world is to have citizens united whatever their race, color, sex, passport, religion, social position, age etc.
Here in London today, we are showing that divide and rule has come to an end. All of us are not ready to forget nor to forgive what is being done to Julian and to all of us. It is still time for the ones in power to act properly before something bad happens to them.

Julian’s case is a political case.
As a French mother, woman, whistleblower, as a friend of Julian’s, I am ashamed of both Presidents Hollande and E. Macron.
Shame on them who have refused asylum to Julian and Ed Snowden whereas France had welcomed and protected dictators, namely Baby Doc from Haiti.
Eric Dupont-Moretti, one of Julian’s former lawyers, had a voice when defending Julian. However he’s been voiceless now and since he's been the Minister of Justice in France. Dead silence.
Silence kills. This is both hypocrisy and cowardice of all these powerless people in power who teach lessons of human rights everywhere in the world.
A few years ago, Queen Elizabeth II had written that she was powerless in Julian’s case because she ‘only reigned’ and therefore had to remain non-political.
Mr. Boris Johnson, then PM, had declared that he was powerless and could not interact in a single case, he could only help for better laws to be passed.
Interestingly, all the people in power declare to be powerless.
Therefore today, this international gathering in London and each of the ones taking place all over the world are showing human power: the citizens are powerful when they gather, when they unite.

A few decades ago, Queen Elizabeth II was reigning over one fourth of the lands of this planet, and we all know how powerful the Commonwealth was.
Nowadays we are showing here in London that we citizens from all over the world are more powerful than the Commonwealth, we are the Human Wealth.
United we stand.
People gathering today in London come from more than 60 countries. All the generations, races, colors, ages and social classes are represented.
Time has come to inspire, to gather, to unite.
Time has come for justice.
Time has come for freedom.
Time has come for peace.
Time has come for journalists to be able to do their work and publish true, reliable information.
Time has come for weak, old, ill politicians to leave office as times have changed.
Mrs. Thatcher had also said that one cannot have a leading position if one has absence of a ‘killer instinct’. I absolutely agree. All the people of the world gathering today in London and worldwide are the leading position for change.
Enough with political lies, enough with unethical compromises, enough with revolving doors, enough with wars, enough with journalists in jail, especially in Europe, especially in the country of the Habeas Corpus.
The human wealth is here today to show the powerful powerless ones (or the powerless powerful ones) that this time, citizens will win.
Julian will win.
We will all win forever.
In the future, there will be statues and streets in the name of Assange all over the world.
We are all showing today that the quote of Alexandre Dumas’ Musketeers ‘One for all, All for one’ is not only words, it’s action.
We all are #Assange.
