Press Release Panodyssey: Panodyssey joins forces with GAIA to promote Basque Culture
Panodyssey, a trusted social network dedicated to culture and creativity, today announced a strategic partnership with GAIA, the Basque Country's association of applied knowledge and technology industries, joining forces to create the Basque Country's first ethical social network. With the ambition of highlighting the cultural and linguistic wealth of the Basque Country, this partnership aims to emphasize culture and creativity to young audiences.
Promoting the Basque cultural heritage
In keeping with its commitment to promoting digital ethics, Panodyssey is partnering with GAIA to highlight the cultural and linguistic richness of the Basque Country.
By offering a multitude of topics in the fields of culture, education, innovation and creativity, this network will attract a diversity of Basque creators and their communities. This approach not only guarantees an authentic representation of Basque culture, but also enables everyone to express themselves and share their passions, thus strengthening the social and cultural fabric of the region.
In the light of this agreement, Jokin Garatea, International Director of GAIA, which brings together over 312 Basque companies, stresses the importance of combating fake content and online harassment, while offering quality alternatives for young audiences. "The problems of counterfeiting and trust must be at the forefront of our action. We must fight against false information and online harassment. We need to offer quality alternatives for young audiences. Panodyssey knows how to develop ethical and effective solutions in cooperation with Europe and a wide range of partners", he declares.
The Basque Country is a particularly propitious territory for developing a collaboration with Panodyssey. Its strong cultural identity and commitment to the values of art, literature and innovation make it a strategic location for developing creative partnerships. This partnership between Panodyssey and GAIA is a first step towards promoting the region's rich cultural heritage, says Alexandre Leforestier, President of Panodyssey.
The official opening of the new Basque social network is scheduled for September 2024, with a varied selection of themes to meet the interests and needs of the Basque community.
Panodyssey: a pioneer in the fight against fake content and online harassment
Panodyssey has already achieved remarkable results in the fight against fake content and online harassment. Thanks to its rigorous processes and partnerships with key players such as Agencia EFE, Arte TV and France Télevision (...), Panodyssey has demonstrated its commitment to creating a safe and ethical digital environment.
The official opening of the new Basque social network is scheduled for September 2024, with a varied selection of themes to meet the interests and needs of the Basque community.
In collaboration with the European consortia CREA Trust AI and TEMS supported by the European Commission's Europe Creative Innovation LAB and DIGITAL EUROPE programs, Panodyssey and GAIA will also develop new written and audiovisual content formats specifically tailored to young audiences, reinforcing their commitment to this important demographic.
The audiovisual approach characteristic of this new social network will be reinforced by close collaboration with the Basque Country's audiovisual association, EIKEN. Together, the partners will make this network a trusted digital instrument for spreading Basque culture and language throughout the world.
At the same time, GAIA is joining the new European consortium CREA Trust AI to take part in its activities as an associate partner in a spirit of global and sustainable cooperation.
