Résumé :
Pourquoi Lola a-t-elle sonné à cette porte ? Pourquoi Bertrand a-t-il ouvert à cette inconnue ? Comment peut-on tomber fou amoureux de quelqu'un en dix secondes ? Ce jour chaud du mois de juin va tout changer. Durant quelques heures de bonheur et d'insouciance, Bertrand et Lola oublient tout : elle, qu'elle va se marier dans une semaine ; lui, qu'il est reporter-photographe et ne supporte aucune attache. Malgré cette passion inattendue, tous deux prennent la plus sage et la pire des décisions : continuer leurs chemins respectifs et retourner à leur vie d'avant. Lola se marie et reprend son métier d'hôtesse de l'air. Bertrand s'envole pour un pays lointain... Mais chacun demeure prisonnier de cet amour fou. Même s'ils ont voulu vivre l'un sans l'autre, le hasard semble prendre un malin plaisir à les faire se croiser. Et puis... et puis Bertrand est capturé, pris en otage par un groupe armé lors d'un de ses reportages en Afrique. Auront-ils la moindre chance de se retrouver un jour?
Summary :
Why did Lola ring the doorbell? Why did Bertrand open the door to this stranger? How can you fall madly in love with someone in ten seconds? This hot day in June will change everything. During a few hours of happiness and carefree fun, Bertrand and Lola forget everything: she, that she is getting married in a week; he, that he is a reporter-photographer and can't stand any ties. In spite of this unexpected passion, they both make the wisest and worst decision: to go their respective ways and return to their former lives. Lola gets married and resumes her job as a flight attendant. Bertrand flies to a distant country... But each remains a prisoner of this crazy love. Even if they wanted to live without each other, chance seems to take a malicious pleasure in making them cross paths. And then... and then Bertrand is captured, taken hostage by an armed group during one of his reports in Africa. Will they have the slightest chance to meet again one day?

Depuis le temps que je voulais lire ce livre, voilà qui est fait.
On y retrouve Lola qui se demande pourquoi elle à sonné à la porte de sa voisine, surtout que c'est un inconnu qui lui à ouvert, Bertrand. Comment peu t'on tomber fou amoureux rien qu'avec un seul regard? Surtout qu'elle doit se marier dans très peu de temps. Lui étant photographe reporter n'ayant aucune attache. Ils vont prendre à eux deux la sache décision de retourner à leurs affaires d'avant, elle hôtesse de l'air, lui partant dans un pays lointain. Sauf que Bertrand va être pris en otage. Vont ils se retrouvés un jour?
J'ai de suite accroché à l'histoire si émouvante à certains passages, addictive, captivante, remplie de suspens et de rebondissements avec des personnages attachants. Hâte de lire la suite.

Since the time I wanted to read this book, it is done.
We find Lola who wonders why she rang the doorbell of her neighbor, especially since it is a stranger who opened it, Bertrand. How can we fall madly in love with just one look? Especially since she is to be married in a very short time. He is a photographer reporter with no ties. They will both take the decision to return to their business before, she stewardess, he leaving in a distant country. Except that Bertrand will be taken hostage. Will they ever meet again?
I was immediately hooked on the story, which is so moving in certain passages, addictive, captivating, full of suspense and twists and turns with endearing characters. Can't wait to read the book two.
