Salut, moi c'est Max. Mon quotidien : échapper aux Erasers. des mutants moitié loup, moitié homme, chargés de nous exterminer, ma famille et moi. Quand je dis famille, je veux parler des cinq gosses sur qui je veille depuis qu'on s'est échappés du laboratoire qui nous retenait prisonniers. On avait plutôt assuré jusqu'à maintenant. Mais voilà que le FBI se met à nous faire les yeux doux. Pas question de baisser la garde. On n'a pas besoin d'eux. Aller à (école ? Et puis quoi encore ! Tout ce qui m'importe, pour l'instant, c'est protéger mes frangins et retrouver nos parents. Ah oui. j'oubliais : je dois aussi sauver le monde...
Ma chronique :
Que de plaisir de retrouver Maximum Ride et ses frères et sœurs. Je trouve cela dommage que la traduction des livres ce soit arrêtée au troisième livre. Du coup je les ais commandés jusqu'au tome 9 en anglais.
On y retrouve Maximum Ride qui au quotidien doit échapper aux fameux Erasers de mutants à moitié loups, moitié hommes qui veulent tous les exterminés. En parlant de Max et les cinq enfants avec qui elle vit depuis qu'ils se sont enfuis du laboratoire qui les gardaient enfermés. Jusque là ils étaient bien cachés mais là le FBI veut leur mettre la main dessus. Mais ils n'ont pas besoin d'eux. Elle va devoir protéger ses frères et sœurs et tenter de retrouver leurs parents et de sauver le monde.
J'ai accroché de suite à ce deuxième livre avec des personnages toujours aussi attachants avec une histoire prenante, captivante, addictive, remplie de suspens et de rebondissements.

What a pleasure to be back with Maximum Ride and its brothers and sisters. I think it's a shame that the translation of the books has stopped at the third book. So I ordered them up to volume 9 in English.
We find in it Maximum Ride which in daily life must escape the famous Erasers of mutants half wolves, half men who want to exterminate them all. Speaking of Max and the five children with whom she has been living with since they escaped from the laboratory that kept them locked up. Until then they were well hidden but now the FBI wants to get their hands on them. But they don't need them. She will have to protect her brothers and sisters and try to find their parents and save the world.
I hooked right away on this second book with characters always so endearing with a gripping story, captivating, addictive, full of suspense and twists and turns.
