Je tiens à remercier les éditions Hugo Publishing/ Hugo Thriller et le site Netgalley pour m'avoir permis de lire ce livre.

On y retrouve Vérity Crawford qui est mondialement connue pour ses livres, elle est en couple avec Jérémy. Sauf qu'un jour sa vie va tourner au cauchemar. Un accident va l'empêcher de continuer d'écrire ses livres, elle va se retrouver comme en prison chez elle et surtout elle à peur que Jérémy s'éloigne d'elle.

Quant à Lowen Ashleig, ses livres n'ont aucun succès et ses fiances sont au plus basse. Jusqu'au jour où Jérémy la contacte pour continuer d'écrire les romans de Vérity. Sauf que Lowen va fouiller dans les papiers de Vérity et tomber sur une sorte d'autobiographie et pour Vérity Lowen pourrait être une menace.

Un livre lu d'une traite tellement j'ai accroché à l'histoire si prenante, captivante, addictive, remplie d'intrigues, de suspens et de rebondissements avec des personnages très attachants. J'adore la plume de l'auteure.

We find Verity Crawford who is known worldwide for her books, she is in a relationship with Jeremy. Except that one day her life will turn into a nightmare. An accident will prevent her from continuing to write her books, she will find herself as if in prison at home and especially she is afraid that Jeremy will move away from her.

As for Lowen Ashleig, her books are not successful and her engagement is at an all-time low. Until one day, when Jeremy contacts her to continue writing the Verity novels. Except that Lowen is going to rummage through Vérity's papers and comes across a kind of autobiography, and for Vérity Lowen could be a threat.

A book read in one sitting so much I was hooked on the story so gripping, captivating, addictive, full of intrigue, suspense and twists and turns with very endearing characters. I love the author's writing.
