Summary :

Lucy Benes is a high school graduate who is desperate to escape her hometown and attend college. After spending her high school years as a low income girl at a school for rich kids, she wants nothing more than to find a place where she belongs. While the rich kids move on to Ivy League educations, Lucy has been accepted to one of the greatest art schools in the country on scholarship. But to Lucy's horror, one of the "rich girls" - Lucy's sworn enemy - is attending the same school.

Olivia Banks grew up in her father's shadow and is looking to pave her own path. She's always wanted to be an artist - despite her father urging her toward something more practical. So when Olivia attends an art school against her father's wishes, she knows it's only a matter of time before the chaos ensues. And the last thing she expects to find is Lucy Benes, her mortal enemy from high school.

When the two of them are invited to work on an exclusive student project, they have to decide if they can handle the prospect of sharing the same studio space. But the closer they get to one another, the more they learn that maybe they don't hate each other after all. In fact, maybe there's something deep and rich drawing them closer together.

Drawn to Her is a standalone enemies-to-lovers romance with a Happily Ever After.

My mind :

I would like to thank the author and the Booksprout website for allowing me to read this book.

It features the young Lucy Benes who dreams of one thing: running away from her hometown to go to university. Having spent years in high school on a meager income despite being a child of the rich, she only wants one thing - to have a place where she feels good. She is going to be accepted into an art school on a scholarship. But one of the rich girls who doesn't like Lucy will end up in the same school.

As for Olivia, she is looking for her own way. She wants to be an artist so she is going to the same school as Lucy and she doesn't expect to find her there.

They are going to have to work together on a project, see if they can work together to make it happen. And the more they work together, the more they will realize that in the end they will get along well together.

I immediately got hooked on the story, so captivating, addictive, full of suspense and twists and turns with endearing characters. I love the author's addictive writing.

Mon avis :
