Ingénieur de formation, Jacques Vandroux est amené à effectuer de fréquents déplacements. Voyages en train, voyages transatlantiques, connexions à n’en plus finir dans les aéroports. Écrire est devenu un moyen de transformer ces longues heures en moments passionnants en donnant vie à des personnages qui l’accompagneront durant des mois.
Peu enclin à multiplier les envois de manuscrits à des éditeurs, pour une issue plus qu’incertaine, il a partagé ses écrits avec ses proches, ce qui constituait déjà pour lui une grande satisfaction.
Encouragé par quelques amis, et grâce à l’aide de son épouse, devenue à cette occasion son agent littéraire attitrée, il a ensuite utilisé l’avènement du numérique pour mettre ses romans à disposition sur différentes plateformes.
Le succès qui a suivi l’a conduit à écrire davantage, pour son plaisir et celui des lecteurs.
Certains de ses titres, traduits et publiés par Amazon Publishing, sont également disponibles en anglais ou en allemand.
Après quatre best-sellers numériques, des éditeurs l’ont contacté.
Cinq de ses titres, dont deux uniquement en numérique, sont publiés chez Robert Laffont via les circuits traditionnels de l’édition.
En parallèle, il publie également en tant qu’auteur indépendant.

A few words about the author :
An engineer by training, Jacques Vandroux is required to travel frequently. Travelling by train, transatlantic trips, endless connections in airports. Writing has become a way to transform these long hours into exciting moments by giving life to characters who will accompany him for months.
Not inclined to multiply the number of manuscripts sent to publishers, for a more than uncertain outcome, he shared his writings with those close to him, which was already a great satisfaction for him.
Encouraged by a few friends, and with the help of his wife, who became his literary agent, he then used the advent of digital technology to make his novels available on different platforms.
The success that followed led him to write more, for his own pleasure and that of his readers.
Some of his titles, translated and published by Amazon Publishing, are also available in English or German.
After four digital bestsellers, publishers contacted him.
Five of his titles, two of which are digital only, are published by Robert Laffont through traditional publishing channels.
In parallel, he also publishes as a freelance author.

Je tiens à remercier le site Netgalley et particulièrement les éditions Librinova pour m'avoir permis de lire ce livre sur leur plateforme jury lecteur et en regardant ma pile à lire Netgalley j'ai vu que ce livre était dedans du coup je fais une pierre deux coups :-)
En lisant ce livre qui m'a tenu en haleine du début à la fin on se pose pas mal de questions comme si la science n'est pas un truc de charlatans.
On y retrouve Nadia Barka capitaine de la PJ à Grenoble qui est invitée à Rome, ce qu'elle ne sait pas du tout c'est que cette invitation c'est un cadeau empoisonné.
En passant par la Toscane et Botticelli, le Mont-St Michel et sa fameuse abbaye, Paris, elle recherche un tueur qui sévit en laissant la mort derrière lui.
J'ai passé un agréable moment en lisant ce livre, j'ai accroché de suite à l'histoire si captivante, addictive, remplie de suspens et de rebondissements avec des personnages attachants. J'adore la plume de cet auteur.

I would like to thank the Netgalley website and especially the Librinova editions for allowing me to read this book on their reader jury platform and by looking at my Netgalley pile I saw that this book was in it so I kill two birds with one stone :-)
Reading this book that kept me on the edge of my seat from beginning to end we ask ourselves a lot of questions as if science is not a charlatan thing.
We find there Nadia Barka, captain of the PJ in Grenoble who is invited to Rome, what she doesn't know at all is that this invitation is a poisoned gift.
Passing through Tuscany and Botticelli, the Mont-St Michel and its famous abbey, Paris, she is looking for a killer who rages, leaving death behind him.
I had a great time reading this book, I immediately fell in love with the story so captivating, addictive, full of suspense and twists and turns with endearing characters. I love this author's writing.
