Lucie, coiffeuse de métier, est auteure depuis quelques années. Son premier livre est paru le jour de ses 35 ans (saga Destinés publiée aux éditions Mots en flots...). Depuis toute jeune, elle a toujours aimé lire et inventer des histoires. Même si l’écriture ne s’est imposée à elle que bien plus tard, cette passion est devenue une addiction. Prête à relever tous les défis, animée d’une folie furieuse qui ne supporte pas de voir les gens tristes, toujours à l’écoute, Lucie est une maman dingue de ses enfants… et une femme amoureuse de son homme.
A few words about the author :
Lucie, a hairdresser by trade, has been an author for several years. Her first book was published on her 35th birthday (saga Destinés published by Mots en flots...). Since she was very young, she has always loved reading and inventing stories. Even if writing did not impose itself on her until much later, this passion has become an addiction. Ready to take up any challenge, driven by a furious madness that cannot bear to see people sad, always listening, Lucie is a crazy mother of her children... and a woman in love with her man.

Depuis le temps que je voulais lire ce livre, voilà qui est fut, ce fut un vrai coup de cœur à lire, j'adore la plume de l'auteure si addictive, tellement accroché à l'histoire que j'ai hâte de découvrir la suite et de lire la série "Destinés".
On y retrouve la jolie Lily qui est orpheline méprisée et harcelée. Elle n'a qu'une envie décrocher son diplôme et partir loin de tout ça. Mais elle va rencontrer un mystérieux lycéen Logan, entre eux il va y avoir pas mal de secrets, de sentiments et tout autour de Lily va basculer dans le monde sombre et dangereux.
Un livre lu quasi d'une traite tellement j'ai accroché de suite à l'histoire si émouvante à certains passages, captivante, addictive, prenante, remplie d'intrigues, de suspens et de rebondissements avec des personnages très attachants. Trop hâte de lire la suite tellement ce livre m'a laissé sur la fin, il m'a tenu en haleine du début à la fin et au tout final j'en avais les larmes aux yeux. My review :
Since the time I wanted to read this book, here it is, it was a real favorite to read, I love the pen of the author so addictive, so hooked on the story that I can't wait to discover the sequel and read the series "Destinies".
We find the pretty Lily who is an orphan scorned and harassed. She only wants to get her diploma and go away from all that. But she will meet a mysterious high school student Logan, between them there will be a lot of secrets, feelings and everything around Lily will fall into the dark and dangerous world.
A book read almost in one sitting, so much so that I was immediately hooked on the story, so moving in some parts, captivating, addictive, gripping, full of intrigue, suspense and twists and turns with very endearing characters. I can't wait to read the book two of the book, it left me on the edge of my seat from beginning to end and at the very end I had tears in my eyes.
