A few words about the author :
Alice Reeds was born in a small town in Germany but spent her first eight years in Florida, USA. Later on, she moved back to Europe, where her family moved around a lot. She was raised trilingual and has a basic understanding of Russian, read and spoken. After getting her International Baccalaureate Diploma, Alice is studying English Language and Literature at University. In her free time Alice mostly writes, reads, figure and/or roller skates, or watches countless let's plays and figure skating videos.

Alice Reeds est née dans une petite ville d'Allemagne mais a passé ses huit premières années en Floride, aux États-Unis. Plus tard, elle est retournée en Europe, où sa famille a beaucoup déménagé. Elle a été élevée de façon trilingue et a une compréhension de base du russe, lu et parlé. Après avoir obtenu son diplôme de baccalauréat international, Alice étudie la langue et la littérature anglaises à l'université. Pendant son temps libre, Alice écrit, lit, fait du patinage artistique et/ou du roller, ou regarde d'innombrables jeux et vidéos de patinage artistique.

They survived a plane crash.

Ils ont survécu à un accident d'avion.
Ils ont survécu à la vie sur une île déserte.
Ils ont survécu au fait d'être chassés.
Maintenant, ils doivent survivre à la vérité - ils ne sont pas ceux qu'ils pensent être.
Un instant, ils sont en Pologne, soumis à d'horribles tests auxquels ils échouent sans cesse. Aucun ami pour les soutenir. Pas de famille pour les réclamer. Aucun espoir de vivre à nouveau une vie normale.
Puis, soudain, ils se retrouvent piégés sur un cargo abandonné au milieu de l'océan et obligés de se battre pour survivre. Pas de nourriture. Pas d'eau potable. Aucun moyen de rentrer chez eux. Et d'étranges souvenirs d'une autre vie qu'ils ne comprennent pas.
Mais comment peuvent-ils vivre deux vies différentes, coincés dans deux endroits différents, au même moment ? Ils devront trouver le lien et découvrir des secrets que quelqu'un s'est donné beaucoup de mal à cacher... s'ils veulent survivre assez longtemps pour découvrir qui est derrière tout cela.

Je tiens à remercier les éditions Entangled Publishing, LLC et le site Netgalley de m'avoir permis de lire ce livre.
Ce livre nous ai conté du point de vue de Fiona avec un nouveau narrateur Mile's.
Ayant survécus à un accident d'avion, vécu sur une ile déserte, étés chassés, dorénavant ils doivent survivre à la triste réalité. Ils vont se retrouvés en Pologne subissant d'affreux tests avec personne pour les soutenir, aucune famille et surtout plus d'espoir pour une nouvelle vie à la normale. Quand tout à coup ils vont devoir survivre sur un cargo en plein milieu de l'océan sans nourriture ni eau potable et surtout aucun moyen de rentrer chez eux et ayant d'étranges réminiscences d'une autre vie qu'ils ne comprennent pas d'où cela vient.
La question que l'on se pose c'est comment peuvent ils vivre deux vie différentes dans divers endroits différents en même temps? Ils vont devoir survivre le plus longtemps possible pour trouver qui est derrière tout cela.
Un livre lu d'une traite tellement j'ai accroché à l'histoire si prenante, addictive, captivante, remplie de suspens et de rebondissements avec des personnages très attachants. Hâte de relire la série au complète.

This book is told from Fiona's point of view with a new narrator Mile's.
Having survived a plane crash, lived on a deserted island, been hunted, now they must survive the sad reality. They find themselves in Poland undergoing horrific tests with no one to support them, no family, and no hope for a new normal. When suddenly they have to survive on a cargo ship in the middle of the ocean with no food, no drinking water, no way to get home and strange reminiscences of another life that they don't understand where it comes from.
The question is how can they live two different lives in different places at the same time? They will have to survive as long as possible to find out who is behind it all.
A book read in one go so much I was hooked on the story so gripping, addictive, captivating, full of suspense and twists with very endearing characters. I can't wait to read the whole series again.
