Reine Andrieu naît en 1967. Initialement diplômée d'une école de commerce, elle reprend des études universitaires pour devenir bibliothécaire, métier qu'elle exerce pendant treize ans. L’Hiver de Solveig est son premier roman.

Reine Andrieu was born in 1967. Initially a graduate of a business school, she went back to university to become a librarian, a profession she practiced for thirteen years. The Winter of Solveig is her first novel.

Été 1940. Dans la France occupée par les Allemands, les habitants sont contraints de donner gîte et couvert à l’ennemi. À Lignon, paisible bourg du Bordelais, les Lenoir, une famille de notables, doivent héberger Günter Kohler. Passée sa répulsion première, Noémie, la jeune épouse, éprouve une violente attirance pour l'adjudant qui vit désormais sous leur toit.
Printemps 1946. La guerre est terminée, mais elle a laissé derrière elle son lot de malheurs, et de nombreux déplacés. Parmi eux, une fillette, retrouvée assise sur un banc, dans un village non loin de Bordeaux. Qui est-elle ? d’où vient-elle ? et pourquoi semble-t-elle avoir tout oublié ? Justin, un gendarme de vingt-quatre ans, décide de la prendre sous son aile et de percer le mystère qui l’entoure.

Summer 1940. In German-occupied France, the inhabitants are forced to give shelter and food to the enemy. In Lignon, a peaceful town in the Bordeaux region, the Lenoir family, a family of notables, had to give shelter to Günter Kohler. After his initial repulsion, Noémie, the young wife, feels a violent attraction for the Adjutant who now lives under their roof.
Spring 1946. The war is over, but she has left behind her share of misfortune and many displaced persons. Among them, a little girl was found sitting on a bench in a village not far from Bordeaux. Who is she? Where does she come from? and why does she seem to have forgotten everything? Justin, a twenty-four-year-old gendarme, decides to take her under his wing and unravel the mystery that surrounds her.

Je tiens particulièrement à remercier les éditions Préludes et le site Babélio de m'avoir envoyé gracieusement ce livre contre une chronique honnête.
L'histoire se déroule en 1940, en été à Lignon dans la région de Bordeaux. Les habitants sont contraints d'accepter dans leur foyer les allemands contre une chambre et le couvert. La famille Lenoir sont contraint d’héberger Gunter Kohler et l'épouse Lenoir semble avoir une attirance pour cet allemand.
En 1946, la guerre étant fini en ayant laisser derrière elle son lot de malheurs, une fillette est retrouvée non loin de Bordeaux. Qui est elle? Que fait elle là? Pourquoi est elle amnésique? Justin un jeune gendarme décide de la prendre à ses côtés et va tout faire pour éclaircir ce mystère.
J'ai adoré lire ce livre, j'ai passé un agréable moment en compagnie des personnages très attachants. Ce fut un vrai coup de cœur à lire.
J'ai accroché de suite à l'histoire si prenante, captivante, addictive, remplie de suspens et de rebondissements. J'adore la plume de l'auteure, pour un premier roman chapeau j'ai adoré, j'espère qu'elle écrira un autre livre.

I would particularly like to thank the Préludes editions and the Babélio website for having graciously sent me this book in exchange for an honest chronicle.
The story takes place in 1940, in summer in Lignon in the Bordeaux region. The inhabitants are forced to accept the Germans in their home in exchange for a room and a place to eat. The Lenoir family are forced to take in Gunter Kohler and the Lenoir wife seems to have an attraction for this German.
In 1946, the war having ended and having left behind its share of misfortunes, a little girl was found not far from Bordeaux. Who was she? What is she doing there? Why does she have amnesia? Justin, a young gendarme, decides to take her by her side and will do everything to clear up this mystery.
I loved reading this book, I spent a pleasant time in the company of very endearing characters. It was a real favorite to read.
I immediately hooked on the story, which was so captivating, addictive, full of suspense and twists and turns. I love the author's pen, for a first hat novel I loved, I hope she will write another book.
