Elle a commencé la lecture dès sa plus tendre jeunesse. Des écrits de Mary Shelley à Stephen King en passant par ceux de Shakespeare jusqu’à ceux de George R.R Martin, toutes les histoires où l’imaginaire du lecteur est à son plus haut la comblent toujours d’un bonheur indicible ! Le genre ne l’arrête pas. Elle a un mal fou à résister à un bel objet-livre qui peut nous plonger dès la première seconde dans la découverte d’un univers, c’est pour ça qu’une vigilance toute particulière est apportée à la qualité des graphismes de couverture de ses romans.
À côté de l’écriture, son autre domaine de prédilection est l’enseignement.

Je tiens à remercier les éditions Librinova et le site Netgalley de m'avoir permis de lire ce livre.
On y retrouve Clea qui est une ado intelligente et surtout curieuse. Malgré cela elle peine a se faire des amis et doit affronter les moqueries de ses camarades. Jusqu'au jour où elle apprend que c'est une sorcière sa famille étant des sorciers, et qu'une créature du nom de Ayko la protège tout bascule.
Avec sa mère Carol elle va sur un ile, un lieu destiné aux sorcières. Pour Clea une nouvelle vie commence avec des cours de sorcellerie, des entrainements de combats. Elle va devoir vaincre Manteia une sorcière faisant de la magie noire pour semer la terreur entre le monde magique et les sans pouvoirs.
J'ai lu ce livre d'une traite tellement j'ai accroché à l'histoire si prenante, captivante, addictive, remplie de suspens et de rebondissements avec des personnages très attachants. Hâte de lire la suite.

It features Clea who is a smart and curious teenager. Despite this, she struggles to make friends and has to face the mockery of her classmates. Until the day she learns that she is a witch, her family being witches, and that a creature named Ayko is protecting her.
With her mother Carol she goes to an island, a place for witches. For Clea a new life begins with witchcraft classes, combat training. She will have to defeat Manteia, a witch doing black magic to spread terror between the magical world and the powerless.
I read this book in one go so I hooked on the story so engaging, captivating, addictive, full of suspense and twists with very endearing characters. Can't wait to read the book two.
