Theaters That Embrace The Childhood..

There are many important experiences that do not receive media coverage due to several factors, including the lack of media interest in them because they do not achieve a financial return from paid advertising, or that the experiment takes place in geographical areas far from the focus of attention.

Because of my interest in the value of the experience and its meaning, my choices do not take commercial factors as a criterion in evaluating it.. Today I am talking about an important experience from several aspects, firstly because it is a young experience, secondly because it is taking place in occupied Palestine, and thirdly because it continues under pressure and difficult economic, social and humanitarian conditions due to the low living situation and lack of The presence of technical and material support and the circumstances caused by the Corona pandemic, In addition to the pressures experienced by the Palestinians under the Israeli occupation, and I talk about the children’s theater and the experience of the Palestinian artist Abdullah Bannoura, which later developed with his brother into the experience of the Bannoura brothers in the theater, but on a larger and different scale that is not confined to the child’s world..

The experience of the Palestinian artist Abdullah Bannoura began early in his small neighborhood and completed it through his studies of acting and participation in many local theatrical performances inside Palestine, many of which were on tours in children’s schools. He also participated in one of the theater festivals in Germany, in addition to his participation in various experiences between a movie, Palestinian TV series and short films..

This experience comes supported by great passion after it was refined by studying despite all the difficulties, which makes it distinct And able to continue because of the love of theater and children together, the Palestinian artist Abdullah Bannoura, with his colleagues, artist Ihab Zabalah and artist Mirna Al-Sakhla, made a tour to entertain children during the period of the curfew imposed due to the Corona pandemic, after obtaining permission from the authorities, this tour included various areas in the occupied West Bank, at their personal expense and without material pay, for 9 continuous days and 8 hours a day, and Abdullah moved between characters and stories in the theater with grace and love for the role he plays with His talented colleagues,As educating children and providing them with knowledge through a theatrical artwork is their priority, it also alleviates the psychological damage resulting from the difficulties of the life they constantly live in occupied Palestine..

The beauty of this experience lies in the effort made to reach the various segments of society,So, performances were given for people with special needs, and they also went to remote villages and marginalized areas in the desert to present performances to Bedouin children who cannot come to the city to attend these performances, making it a special experience full of hope and insistence on love of life, creativity and smiling despite all circumstances, And it makes it a wonderful initiative that we hope will continue in Palestine and various countries of the world..

We thank the Palestinian artist Abdullah Bannoura and his colleagues for it, and we wish them success in this important work, artistically, humanly and educationally..
